How Our Miniature Subscriptions Work
Every month, Charm & Ember releases a new themed collection of tabletop miniatures built for fantasy adventures, encounters, and campaigns.
You can join the adventure in two ways: have physical resin miniatures shipped to your door or receive digital STL files to print at home.
Both subscriptions follow our monthly releases, but what you receive — and how you receive it — is different.
Physical Miniature Subscription
Want the minis without owning a 3D printer? This is the one.
Our Physical Miniature Subscription delivers a new themed collection of printed resin tabletop miniatures each month. We handle the printing, cleaning, curing, packing, and shipping so your minis arrive ready for you to paint and bring to the table.
Each monthly release features a mix of characters, creatures, enemies, NPCs, monsters, and terrain built around a shared adventure theme.
Physical Miniature Subscriptions renew on the 5th of each month.
No printer. No supports. No resin cleanup. Just minis.
Digital STL Miniature Subscription
Already have a 3D printer? The Digital STL Subscription gives you the files so you can print the monthly collection yourself.
Each month features a specific digital release, and your subscription gives you access to the STL files included with that month’s collection.
Digital releases include supported and unsupported STL files, giving you the flexibility to use our prepared supports or set up the models for your own printing workflow.
Digital STL Subscriptions renew on the 1st of each month. Once your monthly renewal payment is processed, the new month’s STL files are immediately added to your digital library.
Because each monthly release is separate, your library grows with the collections you receive while subscribed. Joining later does not automatically unlock every previous monthly release.
Physical or Digital?
Choose Physical if you want printed resin miniatures delivered to your door and don’t want to worry about printing them yourself.
Choose Digital STL if you own a 3D printer — or have access to one — and want to print the miniatures yourself.
They are separate subscriptions, so make sure you select the format you want when subscribing.

No. They are separate subscriptions.

When do the subscriptions renew?
Digital STL Subscriptions renew on the 1st of each month.
Physical Miniature Subscriptions renew on the 5th of each month.
Once a Digital STL renewal payment is processed, the new monthly collection is immediately added to your digital library.
Do I need a 3D printer for the Digital STL Subscription?
Yes. The Digital STL Subscription provides downloadable STL files rather than finished miniatures, so you will need access to a compatible 3D printer to use them.
If you want finished miniatures delivered to you, choose the Physical Miniature Subscription instead.
What files are included with the Digital STL Subscription?
Each digital monthly release includes supported and unsupported STL files for the miniatures included in that collection.
This gives you the option to print using our prepared supports or create your own support setup.
What happens if I subscribe in the middle of the month?
You receive the current month’s release for the subscription format you selected.
Digital subscribers receive access to the current month’s STL collection once their purchase is completed.
Your subscription will then follow its normal renewal schedule for future monthly releases.
Does the Digital STL Subscription include previous months?
No.
Your digital library includes the monthly releases you receive while subscribed. Joining during a later month does not automatically unlock every previous Charm & Ember digital collection.
Previous releases may be available separately in our store.
Do I keep access to my Digital STL files?
The monthly collections added to your digital library remain associated with your account, allowing your library to grow with the releases you receive while subscribed.
What happens when a new monthly collection releases?
The new collection becomes the current monthly release.
Digital STL subscribers renew on the 1st and receive access to the new month’s files once their renewal payment is processed.
Physical Miniature subscribers renew on the 5th and receive that month’s printed miniature collection.
Can I subscribe to both Physical and Digital?
Absolutely.
The Physical and Digital STL subscriptions are separate, so you can maintain both if you want printed miniatures delivered to you while also having access to the STL files for your own printing.
Can I purchase previous monthly collections?
Previous physical and digital collections may be available separately in the Charm & Ember store.
Availability can vary by release.
